Our legacy is as a real working ranch, and we love nothing more than to share it with our guests. Hop in the saddle and take a guided trail ride, join us moving cattle, or explore our unforgettable wilderness. The Middle Creek Ranch guides will saddle you up for a classic ranch experience, so you can explore Colorado like all those before us, communing with the nature and wildlife that make this region special. No riding experience? No problem. Our full-sized riding arena is an ideal place for beginners to learn the ropes. Don’t forget to try your hand at practicing archery, or shooting at our gun range and sporting clays course.
ADVENTURES
From fly fishing to hiking, downhill skiing to snowmobiling, we’ve got the perfect outdoor adventure for every age, soul, and season. Mountain biking, sledding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and more are on the agenda, all equipment provided.
During the summer months, head to MCR’s trails for hiking and mountain biking, explore the property on a guided ATV ride, or fly fish in Trout Creek or one of the stocked ponds on the property. Offsite adventures include tubing the beautiful Yampa River, white water rafting on the Colorado River, fly fishing on the Yampa or Elk Rivers, or taking a spectacular hot air balloon ride.
Snow at Middle Creek Ranch means winter exhilaration: snowshoeing, sledding, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and more, including trips to nearby Steamboat Resort for downhill skiing/snowboarding.
UNWIND
Time to cut loose! Middle Creek Ranch was designed with all ages in mind, making it as family-friendly as it is corporate retreat-ready. Your group will have a blast sharing our brand new paintball field, playing lawn games, jumping off the rope swing at the swimming hole, or kicking back in our game room at the Lodge.
Let’s not forget – every vacation should soothe the soul. That’s why we’ve focused on relaxation at Middle Creek Ranch, including a sun deck, hot tub and exercise room, equipped with a Peloton spin bike, Arc trainer, stationary bike, weights and more, to help nurture your mind and body. Relax in the hammock during the day, or warm up by the outdoor fire pit at night, gazing up at a star-filled Colorado sky. Concierge wellness services include massage, yoga, Pilates, or the movement/healing modality of your choosing.
