Meet Us

Middle Creek Ranch has been a part of my family since I was just 11 years old. Over the years, our mission has been to restore, preserve, and protect this beautiful land while running commercial cattle and bison operations on a portion of the property. I have spent many summers and winter vacations here with family and friends; now my children and the third generation of the family are all experiencing the year-round beauty and seclusion of the ranch.

WHAT WE DO:
We are the go-to folks for MCR operations, from maintaining the infrastructure, to ranch management, to managing the cattle and bison businesses. Sheryl is the lead on our horse operation.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT MCR:
Justin: The opportunity to see the results of our conservation-based approach to management.
Sheryl: Great staff and ownership, and well trained horses and excellent riding throughout the property.

FUN FACTS:
Justin: After pursuing a degree in Range Management and Ecology at Texas Tech University, I changed gears and worked as a manufacturing engineer for 12 years, where I developed processes for manufacturing large parts used by Caterpillar, John Deere and other heavy equipment manufacturers.
Sheryl: Justin and I were featured in a Colorado Proud television commercial that spotlighted the grass-fed beef operation that we managed.
